Montreal New Years Eve 2010 :: the Blog

Not only are Montrealers hot, but they’re also smart, and that truth has just been internationally recognized.

This week-end, somewhere in Asia, in some contest called Miss Earth (I knew about Miss Universe, but Miss Earth…., I guess the Earth deserves having it’s own miss, no?) a young woman doing a PhD in Political Science was crowned Miss Earth. That’s right, you heard well, not only is Montreal a wild place, full of beautifull people, but we’re also all smart, and that proven (now).

So congrats to Jessica Nicole Trisko, winner of Miss Earth 2007.

PS: oh yeah, so I guess the happening NYE is not in NYC this year.

PS 2: I just discovered that the Montreal Mirror had already done a piece on Jessica Trisko in its Chris Barry’s People section, one of the only things I read in that rag called a newspaper.
