An “Involved” New Years Eve

I was reading through some message board about New Years, and I came across this: Get Involved New Years VIP packages

Now that’s a pretty good idea I find, selling NYE party tickets and donating the benefits to UNICEF. There are no news on the official Involved site about the coming new years eve 2007, but last year’s edition featured a number of parties in Montreal being auctioned (Armin Van Buuren – Bal en Blanc @ Red Lite, Danny Howells – Aria, Deep Dish (Sharam) – Aria, Steve Lawler – Bell Center). Hopefully, a similar initiative will happen this new years too, and Montreal’s clubber’s will contribute. I mean, go nuts partying and help the world at the same time, how brilliant is that?

Thank you dear writer. Your wit was much appreciated this Friday night. I am home listening to some awesome music and starting to anticipate all the powerful energy that will be exchanged this next NYE on the Bell Center floor.
I find it is such a privilige to be able to let loose with 15000 people who are enjoying the time of their life with you!
For having travelled all over the country and the states, I am proud to say that Montreal is one very attractive place to be. Our open-mindess and joie de vivre are known farther than some could think! And our women… legendary!
No wonder why they were able to line up some of the biggest names… Tiesto might not have been that hard to convice!

I know I’ll be right in the middle dancing my little butt off!

Now that’s a weird comment!!! Sounds almost like an advertisement: “privilege to be able to let loose….”

Well, it is somewhat true though: Montreal has acquired an amazing reputation for large mega parties, and that’s very good. Big names can never hurt. But I am also interested in “grass root entertainment”, the little guys, the small parties, the small promotion crews.

Hey, I think I just coined a new term: “grass root entertainment”.
